Huge gratitude to all who attended our special event with Chef Masayoshi and Sake breweries, Kawatsuru and Tatenokawa, held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Thank-you so much to Chef Masayoshi Baba, Tomo and team for the delicious cuisine and amazing culinary experience! Many thanks to Manami of Fujiyama Imports, Naoko of Tatenokawa and Yuichiro of Kawatsuru for sharing the breweries' 100 plus years of history, passion and of course, their fine Sakes! The night was awesome. It was our sincere pleasure to host such an amazing crowd of food and wine/sake lovers.

A snapshot of the premium Sakes from Kawatsuru and Tatenokawa Breweries. These, along with a delicious Yuzu Sake, were beautifully paired with Chef Masayoshi's cuisine!
Captured here is Chef Masayoshi dusting finely grated Yuzu zest over these petite Ikura treasures. The wonderful scent of that zest lingered all the way to the other end of the room and had guests talking about it, even before the Nigiri was served. So aromatic and lovely! The Ikura and Uni for the event are from our fave local seafood supplier, F.I.S.H.
